The School of Internet of Things Engineering (with the School of Engineering as its predecessor), has recruited 14 graduating classes since September 2002. The School of Internet of Things Engineering includes majors such as Electrical and Information Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science and Technology, Internet of Things Engineering, etc. It is a comprehensive innovative school with interdisciplinary subjects of Electronics, Communication, Computers, Automation and Internet Engineering.
The school has a comprehensive training center and computer center. It has established advanced control technology laboratory with GE, Disco, and other companies, as well as an internet communications laboratory. It also has established an internet of things laboratory, an electrical engineering basics laboratory, and other intramural laboratories. It has signed contracts with more than 20 famous companies within Chain, and established a laboratory and training center for such subjects as software design, embedded system applications, mobile internet application development network engineering and services, Internet of things, E-commerce and cloud computing. Currently, thousands of undergraduate students in five majors are undergoing training in special technical abilities.
