The School of Civil Engineering, (with the Department of Civil Engineering as its predecessor), started its undergraduate program in 2006, with a total of 10 graduating classes since then. The school includes two majors: Civil Engineering and Engineering Management. These aim at cultivating applicable talents in engineering technology and Civil Engineering program management. The school has established a Civil Engineering experimental center, which includes engineering mechanics, civil engineering materials, geotechnical engineering, engineering survey, project construction, bridge construction, visual reality, and practical engineering training base. Apart from providing service for training talent in practical technical skills, it also offers students the opportunity for self-study and the chance to participate in activities encouraging technological innovation in order to support their practical skills.
