The School of Accountancy of Taihu University was founded in 2002. For over 20 years, the school has striven to develop a complete talent cultivation system focusing on training entrepreneurs who can adapt to the requirement of the times, managers who are skilled in innovation and business people who can break new ground.

The School of Accountancy consists of two departments: the Department of Accounting and the Department of Audit. These include Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing and ACCA (Accounting). Of these majors, Accounting was selected to be a model major of Jiangsu universities in 2015. The school possesses advanced supplemental teaching equipment and has established an Experimental Centre of Economic Management, which includes a Finance laboratory, a Computerized Accounting laboratory, an E-commerce laboratory, an ERP laboratory, and an International Trade laboratory. In addition, it has set up more than 100 bases of cooperation with companies and the local government.
