国际教育学院是无锡太湖学院为适应我国教育事业国际化发展需要建立的二级学院，经过不断建设，学院目前拥有一支教学经验丰富、科研实力较强的师资队伍。拥有海外留学经历的教职工达到80%以上。

国际教育学院积极响应学校的号召，加快了国际化教育工作的进程，引入国际优质教育资源，与美国达拉斯浸会大学、英国安格利亚鲁斯金大学、澳大利亚西澳大学、美国孟菲斯大学、美国阿肯色大学史密斯堡分校、法国蒙彼利埃大学等多所海内外知名院校建立了多种形式的交流合作项目。学院引入了特许公认会计师（ACCA）等国际通用的职业资格证书，依托合作院校的学科优势和师资力量，联合培养具有国际竞争力的紧缺人才。同时致力打造跨国本硕直通车，为学生出国深造提供安全、可靠、便捷的通道。

由于国际教育学院中有出国深造意向的学生所占的比例较大，所学专业对外语的要求高，学院特别注重学生外语能力的培养，专门打造一支具有丰富从教经历及专业工作经历的外籍教师团队，为学生顺利海外求学创造条件。国际教育学院还承担了太湖学院全校一部分英语教学任务，为全校双语教育的发展做出了应有的贡献。

国际教育学院关注学生的精神文化生活，开展了英语俱乐部、学术讲座等一系列丰富多彩的活动，吸引了学生积极参与，并先后派遣多名教师赴海外交流学习。

 The School of International Education is a secondary school established by Wuxi Taihu University to meet the needs of internationalization of China's education. After continuous construction, the school currently owns a faculty with rich teaching experience and strong research capacities. Over 80% of the staff of the school has oversea study experience. 

 In response to the call made by Wuxi Taihu University, the School of International Education makes positive efforts to accelerate education internationalization by introducing premium international education resources. It has established exchange and cooperation projects in various forms with oversea prestigious schools, including Dallas Baptist University, Anglia Ruskin University, The University of Western Australia, University of Memphis, University of Arkansas-Fort Smith and University of Montpellier. The school has introduced programs of internationally accepted vocational qualification certificates such as ACCA. It depends on the academic advantages and faculty strengths of cooperative universities to cultivate talents with international competitiveness who are in short supply. Meanwhile, it is committed to the programs of combined bachelor’s and master’s degrees in order to provide safe, reliable and convenient passage for students to pursue further study aboard.

 Since the students who have intention to study aboard account for a large part of the students in the School of International Education with high English language requirements for their majors, the school especially emphasizes on the cultivation of language abilities of the students and especially builds up an experienced foreign teacher team to help students with successful oversea study. The School of International Education also undertakes a portion English teaching tasks of Taihu University of Wuxi, making its own contributions to the development of the bilingual education of the university.

The School of International Education pays attention to students’ spiritual and cultural lives and carries out various activities including the English club and academic lectures, attracting active participation by students. And several teachers have been sent abroad for exchanging communication.
